Lenormand Cards Meaning — General Overview
The Lenormand cards meaning are a 36-card fortune-telling system designed to give clear and direct answers. Unlike Tarot, which often explores deep psychology and spiritual lessons, Lenormand is about practical everyday guidance. Its symbols — Rider, Clover, Heart, House, Key — are simple, easy to read, and provide straightforward insight into real-life situations.
The deck is named after Marie Anne Adelaide Lenormand (1772–1843), a famous French fortune-teller who read for Napoleon and Josephine. After her death, publishers created the Petit Lenormand, the 36-card deck still used today.
In my work I use my own deck, The Ksyusha Way. The images are original, but the meanings remain traditional, exactly like in classic Lenormand.
